To Protect and Feed

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at the Presidio Port of Entry showed their generosity in this year’s “Feds Feed Families” food drive by donating 2,411 pounds of non-perishable foods.

The Feds Feed Families campaign began in 2009 and since then the federal government has collected over 39 million pounds of food.

“Each year since the inception of the Feds Feed Families campaign, Presidio CBP officers have shown their willingness to participate in this worthy cause,” said Presidio Port Director John Deputy. “The food items collected this year will be donated to West Texas Food Bank located in Alpine.”
